Elden Ring: Como completar Boc o Seamster Questline

Knights, maidens, trolls, and even giant tortoises. Elden Ring contains all the usual fantasy-land characters, plus a few others, like the aforementioned oversized reptile.

But one class of characters you may not expect to see is the demi-human species, a race of chimpanzee-like NPC’s who are aggressively hostile.

Well, except for one: Boc the Seamster, the shy little monkey who just wants to make his mom proud. A sério…

Here’s how you can complete Boc’s questline in Elden Ring, including where to find him in his initial disguised form, and gain access to his tailoring skills.

And if you’re just venturing into the Lands Between for the first time,here’s everything else you should do in Limgrave right off the bat!

1. Boc’s First Location

Despite the recent addition of NPC markers in Elden Ring, Boc the Seamster is very tricky to find in his starting location. That’s because he’s been the victim of a magic spell that has turned him into a tree!

Head to the telescope in Limgrave, just north of the lake and you’ll hear Boc calling out to you. However, it’s hard to identify him in his plant form.

Listen closely to find him, and make use of the messages left by other players offering hints – they’re not all jokes about holes and pickles.

Once you find the right tree, attack it to reveal Boc’s true primate form.

Boc will reveal that he’s down on his luck. He was expelled from his clan, who took everything he had from him. That is, apart from x10 Mushrooms, which he’ll gift to you.

He also comments that he could attempt to retrieve his possessions from his cave, perhaps making himself useful to you.

2. Boc’s Cave

Your next encounter with Boc takes place in West Limgrave, at Coastal Cave, his former residence. He’s laying on the ground in pain, next to the Site of Grace, after failing to reclaim his items.

Proceed through the cave and deliver some swift justice to the Demi-Dumans inside. At the end, you’ll face off against the area’s boss: the Demi-Human Chiefs.

This is a duo encounter, plus you’ll be harassed by several regular chimps at the same time. Therefore, it’s advised to use Spirit Summons to distract some of the lesser creatures away from you.

Defeat the boss(es) and you’ll be rewarded with Boc’s lost items: Tailoring Tools and a Sewing Needle. Return them to him.

You’ll also gain access to the Church of Dragon Communion. It’s not related to this quest but is worth checking out if you want to unlock some cool Dragon Incantations.

3. Unlocking Boc’s Skills

Now, Boc the Seamster’s questline takes you out of Limgrave. Head to Liurnia of the Lakes and rest at the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. This is likely to be the first Grace you’ll find in the region.

Boc is now here, kneeling at the Site of Grace. Speak to him again and he’ll offer to make alterations to your garments.

Alterations slightly change the appearance of your armor, with some minor trade-offs. The defense stats will lower marginally, as with the weight.

Now, you need to do some more adventuring. But if you want to cut down on travel time,here’s where you can find every Site of Grace in Elden Ring!

4. The Gold Sewing Needle

To advance Boc’s questline further, you need to find an item that will allow his tailoring abilities to flourish.

This is the Gold Sewing Needle, which can be found at the Church of Vows upon a cliff in East Liurnia. Take a look inside the chest to find it.

5. Demi-God Attire

To trigger Boc’s questline advancement, you also need to have a piece of alterable Demi-God armor in your inventory.

This is armor worn by bosses and sold by Finger Reader Enia in the Roundtable Hold after they’re defeated. Starscourage Radahn’s armor is alterable,so check out our guide if you need to bring him down!

Return to Boc with the items and he’ll thank you for such a wondrous gift.

6. After the Academy

Boc will move again once you’ve accessed the Raya Lucaria Academy legacy dungeon that towers over Liurnia Lake.

This time, he’ll be present at the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace. Speak with him, then rest at the Grace. You’ll notice that you now have the option to talk with Finger Maiden Melina.

Melina will tell you that Boc just wants someone to tell him he’s beautiful.

7. At Altus Plateau
